Brooke is an Associate Attorney with the firm. She focuses her practice in medical malpractice defense litigation, representing hospitals, doctors, nurses, and other health care providers throughout Michigan.
Prior to joining the firm, Brooke litigated across Michigan, working in both the private and public interest sector. She represented a sophisticated and diverse client base in the private sector, including healthcare professionals, insurance providers, and Fortune 100 companies. These disputes ranged from multi-million-dollar controversies to issues of equitable relief. In the public interest sector, Brooke worked on a nonprofit litigation team dedicated to mitigating pandemic-related homelessness where she secured housing stability for over 100 Michigan households via negotiation or trial.
Brooke attended Michigan State College of Law on a full-tuition academic scholarship. While attending Michigan State she won the Region 6 American Bar Association Negotiation Competition and was subsequently a National Semifinalist. She received the Jurisprudence Achievement Award, which is awarded to the highest achieving student receiving an “A” in a course, in both Negotiation and Clinic. She also clerked at a Bloomfield Hills insurance defense firm and was a judicial extern for the Honorable Rosemarie Aquilina in Ingham County Circuit Court.
