Our firm retained Matt Henry over a year ago to do a small foreclosure and after months and months of dissapearing acts and excuses, we have turned to the Arkansas office of professional contact to start a formal complaint and hopefully get out retainer returned. From what I can tell, his firm is closing.
Referred by a friend. Paid him $3k in October 2013 to handle 2 trademark registrations. He didn't file the applications until June of 2014; should never have taken 7 months. After months of unanswered e-mails, re-sending and re-sending to request an update, I figured out how to check the status myself, only to find out that Mr. Henry failed to respond to an action notice for 6 months, so the USPTO abandoned the applications in Sept. 2016. Would not refund us what we paid. Very unprofessinal.
I had been talking to Matt Henry off and on for about 1.5 years. I was unable to talk to him at all because of his lack of professionalism. I was told after I had already done all necessary papers for an estate of my aunt, that he would take care of things. I had to beg for time and no calls. I was told many things in regards to probate that were not necessarily right. I paid him 3,500 for which he should not get paid. In fact, it took many many months as his assistant was never there.
