About Eric Wewers

Eric Wewers graduated from the UALR School of Law in 1990. After graduation, he moved to Dallas, Texas, and began working for the prestigious firm of DeHay & Blanchard. There he worked under the guidance of Carlyle DeHay and Gary Elliston. In 1992, Wewers left DeHay & Blanchard to form the law firm of DeHay & Elliston. During this time, he tried cases in Dallas, Corpus Christi, San Antonio, El Paso, Waco, Austin, and Houston. On January 1, 2001, Wewers resigned from the partnership of DeHay & Elliston to open the Texas office for the nationally known firm of Wilkes & McHugh representing victims of nursing home abuse and neglect. His areas of practice focused on representing those victims of nursing home abuse and neglect in both Texas and Arkansas. In October 2002, Wilkes & McHugh moved Wewers back home to Little Rock to work in their office here. There he was responsible for cases in both Arkansas and Texas. On November 1, 2003, The Law Offices of Eric D. Wewers was formed. Since 2008 Wewers has also served as General Counsel for St. Joseph Helpers and became General Counsel for Arkansas Right to Life at the recommendation of Judge Leon Holmes when he took the bench in 2004. In early 2014, Wewers started working as of counsel with ReddickMoss where he focused his practice on nursing home abuse and neglect cases.

At Rainwater, Holt & Sexton, Wewers continues to work for victims of nursing home abuse and neglect. In his career, Wewers has had settlements totaling in excess of $25 million dollars.
