He was not knowledgeable with the penalties and did not at all seem interested in helping me overall; especially considering I paid him $1,000.00. He gave me incorrect information initially and seemed a little vague at times.
Gave a retainer and hired this lawyer back in 2021. I've had some issues getting a hold of him. He wasn't very responsive and I wasn't really sure what I wanted to do with my case so I just decided to leave it alone. Started trying to contact him again a year ago and I never got any responses to my emails. It has now become an urgent matter and I need him to contact me ASAP. I honestly don't even know if he's still working as a lawyer because his website is no longer up. I'm getting really concerned because I don't have much money and I seriously gave him a $4,000 retainer. He probably did maybe $300 to $500 worth of work for me. So now I'm wondering if he just took all of my money. I need to have a custody case established ASAP. Not really sure what to do but I know that if he reaches out to me I will amend my review or leave an additional five-star review explaining that things were made right.
