I highly recommend Dave Maloney. He represented me recently in the sale of my downtown Chicago condo. I had already left the city and was abroad. Dave and his paralegal Tyler were all the things I needed - personable , professional , easy to get hold of , responsive and efficient all the way through to the morning of closing. And then there was a major hitch ( leak and mini-flooding discovered in my empty condo) . Dave found the way both to facilitate closing on the due date and a subsequent agreement with the buyers on repairs , which was not covered by my insurance. He gave me good advice , was an excellent sounding board , helped mediate with the buyers attorney , returned my calls and emails even when he was on vacation over New Year , and was all round knowledgeable and helpful. I really appreciate his help to resolve a difficult and for me potentially ugly situation. . And considering he must have put in a lot of extra hours for me , his fees were very reasonable.
