Having to work with Lyle McQuinn was one of the absolute worst experiences of my life. He was my dad's attorney. At my father's passing, Lyle and my dad's wife conspired to do the exact opposite of what my dad asked to be done. Lyle was rude and unprofessional. His emails were always rife with grammatical errors. He lied to us, telling us our dad's wishes would be fulfilled, then he and my dad's widow concocted a "tax savings plan" that ultimately put my sister and me in great debt in order to hold on to the company my father wanted to leave us. I have no doubts they were making this plan even before my dad's passing. His professional reputation in Kentucky is not good, and I understand why. I cannot convey the mental injury and distress Lyle and my dad's wife put us through. Do not hire this con artist.
My family and myself do not recommend MR.McQuinn for a second. HE WILL NOT COMMUNICATE PROFESSIONALLY OR PUT THINGS IN WRITING FOR YOU, UNLESS YOU INIATE IT.Then stills tries to keep things as vague as possible. If he needs something he is very timely. But if you need something, I wouldn't hold your breath. We also caught him in several lies. He is extremely inappropriate! He will try to drain your money. HE SHOULD NOT BE A LAWTER. HE SHOULD BE INVESTIGATED!!!!
Run, don’t walk. I have never met an attorney so thoroughly unprofessional, it was shocking. I checked with other estate attorneys in Lexington and they advised to stay away— terrible reputation, and he’s definitely earned it.
Was the worse professional experience of my and my husband's life. He did nothing that he said he would do, sent no written communication on the steps of what he would do, and talked/communicated in riddles - "non-specifics". Fired him since nothing was happening. Then, he sent us a bill when he had done nothing. Definitely does not provide lawyer services!
Unethical does not even begin to describe this joker!!! Prepare yourself for a money hungry, low class individual to do everything in his power to drain your family’s fortune in order to line his pockets! He really needs to be investigated by the Bar Association by the unscrupulous and deceitful things he will do! He’s so eloquent with his lies and shady dealings but there is a higher power he’ll have to answer to! Word of Advice: SAVE YOUR MONEY & HIGHER SOMEONE THAT IS KNOWS WHAT THEY’RE DOING
