R. Davis Younts, a dedicated attorney, began his legal journey at Dickinson School of Law at Pennsylvania State University during the tragic events of September 11, 2001. Inspired by patriotism, he joined the Air Force JAG Corps, serving for over a decade. Starting as a military prosecutor with a 98% conviction rate, Younts quickly gained recognition for his skill in handling complex cases. Transitioning to defense, he became a top-ranked litigator, earning accolades as Senior Defense Counsel for the Air Force’s busiest region, where he led cases involving homicide, sexual assault, and other serious crimes. Promoted to Major, Younts was ranked the number one Senior Defense Counsel in the Air Force and later served as an instructor at the JAG School, modernizing trial advocacy training. After deploying for Operation Enduring Freedom, he joined the Pennsylvania National Guard as a senior legal advisor, rising to Lieutenant Colonel. Despite his success, Younts returned to his passion for courtroom advocacy, entering private practice as a criminal defense attorney. Guided by faith, Younts is committed to defending the God-given and Constitutional rights of individuals, ensuring fairness and equality under the law for those facing serious criminal charges.
