Before hiring Kristin Siegel I met with about a dozen lawyers to review the very contentious filing. I chose Kristin out of all of them because I felt heard, and she was the only one who respectfully asked me questions which I think were designed to test me and see if I was being truthful, so she could best represent my interest. That was what separated her from the other competent lawyers. I never once regretted that choice. My ex ended up going through 4 lawyers during our three and a half year long custody battle. I saw time and time again that Kristin not only would aggressively advocate for my position, but her forensic understanding of the law was second to none. I saw her use case law repeatedly to "educate" opposing counsel of their ignorance. She is second to none, and I highly suggest you retain her as your lawyer if you are lucky enough for her to be willing to take your case.

In an ongoing child Custody case my old attorney retired so I had to hire a new one and Rebecca was highly recommended, she did not disappoint as she had my ex wife drop the case after she pointed out the facts to the courts. I can highly recommend Rebecca and her staff.

This is a very good Firm or was, they are separated, if you are a female, they are pro women, Men- watch out. A very good firm if you have no opinions, want to be yelled at and not have your case completed. A very good firm if you have infinite $ -they will take all of it!

I would strongly caution you from using Ms Sorenson as your GAL. Biased without cause against the father despite the evidence stacked up against mom. This isn't because we lost the case (we ended up with custody) but Ms Sorenson actively supported mom regardless of the facts.
