Valerie Moore did an excellent job representing me during a divorce. She was worked hard and exceeded my expectations. Valerie not only succeeded in getting communal property organized, but she also got alimony reinstated after my ex stopped paying what the court ordered. Without Valerie's legal guidance, I would still be struggling financially. In addition to Valerie's outstanding work, I was also impressed with her assistant, Dawn. Both women were amazing at their jobs and truly helped me through a very difficult time in my life. Hiring Valerie was one of the best decisions of my life.
Very little legal advice provided and legal documents were not properly checked for errors.
I paid Valarie a lot of money to represent me. She went to court twice on my behalf and we had a 30 minute consult in her office. She filed none of then documents I request. She did not let me know I could submit medical bills for our children that were over 10k. My husband ended up will all the assets. I would of been better off representing myself. She failed to justify $3900 of attorney fees and told me if I requested them in court she’d leave then courtroom. In my opinion she should be disbarred.
Valerie Moore absolutely sucks! She’s the worst divorce lawyer someone could hire. She blew through the $4000 retainer within days and charged me a bill on top of that within 3 weeks. She doesn’t have a professional demeanor and has 0 communication. I tried to work things out with her and she refused to listen to any complaints and threatened to withdraw from case. Divorce is already difficult and an irresponsible attorney like her makes things worse! Please stay AWAY from her and save money and time!
She blew through $4000 and I only used two hours of her time. Apparently for some reason she was calling tue other attorney over and over and over. He was not taking her calls. So it was all burnt up on her leaving messages. She was a complete disaster and came to court dressed like a hooker. I do not recommend. I was embarrassed by her behavior.
Valerie Moore is a very bad lawyer. She talked down to me, never listened, and everything she did made everything worse. She took $2500 and she never did any work. Valerie Moore charges $350 per hour. She even charged me $100 just to tell me how much she charges! She lied to my credit card company to collect the entire $2500 retainer. I made a complaint about her to the Better Business Bureau and she tried to blackmail our family to stop the complaint. Valerie Moore is not a good person and I tell everyone not to trust her.
