DO NOT USE THIS LAWYER! He happily accepted my $2500 and did absolutely nothing. He then dropped me as a client because I am the victim of paternity fraud and found out that my 13yo daughter is not biologically mine. He stated that telling him originally that she was my daughter was lying even though I bought the pregnancy test that we used to find out that my wife was pregnant with no idea she'd slept with anyone else. He gave me a bill listing the time he and his secretaries put into my case that is fraudulent and includes not only direct fallacies about phone call durations, but ridiculous charges, such as each time his secretary sent me a one sentence email, and then again each time I replied. He even charged me for missing her phone call! This guy actually had the audacity to charge me more for communicating with his secretary than he did for drafting a divorce decree, filing that decree at the courthouse, and meeting with him me person for an hour. This man is a crook!
I was seeking a divorce from my now ex husband and was referred to Jay Walker by a former co worker. I explained to him I had 3 young children and limited income but after discovering my ex's infedelities, I wanted out. Mr Walker agreed to put me on a payment plan which I was overjoyed about to get my divorce underway. Until one of my kids got sick and I was having trouble keeping up the payments so I called and let me Walker know to put things on hold until I could make my payments in full and he agreed. Next thing I know he ups and drags me into small claims court the week before Christmas (which I had to leave my childe in the hospital to be there) and he said we need to get this money thing settled. I told him my kid was sick and in hospital, I had to other children at home and I was on leave from my job. He had my wages garnished which led my to lose my home. I will NEVER recommend this guy to anyone and ANYONE WHO RUNS AGAINST HIM WILL GET MY VOTE!
