Everyone in ofc treated me with dignity and respect.I,the consumer,was ashame because of the mess I had gotten myself into.Clay Hillis was very understanding and professional,and never made me feel bad about my situation.He put me at ease the first time I met him.Mr.Hillis explained which type of bankruptcy would be best for me,and I agreed. He explained to me the procedure.It was well worth the money. I would recommend this law to anyone.This was a great learning experience for me.

I tendered my retainer fee to Mr. Hillis on a 10/18/16 to represent me. To date he has yet to do so. We have not reached an agreement or had a court date set. His firm rarely returns phone calls or emails, and when you do get them on the phone every day is new story of someone else's fault but their own. Today over the phone Mr. Hillis indicated he would return my retainer, I show up at his office and he's changed his mind. He has yet to follow thru with any of the promises he made.

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*
