Mark Hill is a Godsend!! First of all Mark has a strong compassion to help people and not just in it for the money. He REALLY cares about his client. Mark Was an Amazing Lawyer for my case. I had a difficult situation with my daughters mother. I had never seen my daughter nor had her family !! since birth !! She was living in a bad environment with her mother. Mark spent almost a year with me in fighting to get me to the courtroom where he was calm direct and MOST IMPORTANTLY GOT ME FULL CUSTODY OF MY DAUGHTER. A complete scammer, prolonged my case from the beginning, led me on with false hope and lied about everything just to make sure I don’t drop the case. Doesn’t communicate properly, and was clueless when it came to the hearing. Do NOT even talk to him, it’s better to spend your money on someone more competent. An absolutely horrible lawyer who will say what he needs to in order to steal your money. If you are going through a divorce, or any legal matters, AVOID this guy and his staff.

If you value your case, your money, and your sanity stay as far away from this attorney as possible. I hired him after reading his 100+ glowing Avvo reviews. Biggest mistake of my life. Those reviews are pure fiction none of them match the disaster I experienced. He is not an advocate. He is not a litigator. He is nothing more than a silent bystander who takes your money, then works in favor of the other side. In court, he didn’t fight for me. He didn’t speak for me. He left me completely defenseless while he played nice with opposing counsel. I walked in with a lawyer and walked out with a bill that’s it. He is, in my opinion, corrupt, unethical, and dangerous to anyone who hires him. He has no business practicing law. Hiring him was like handing my case to my opponent on a silver platter. Don’t let it happen to you.

Hiring this attorney was the single worst decision I have ever made. I trusted him based on the glowing reviews on Avvo, but now I believe those reviews are fake and misleading. Not a single one reflects the reality of what I went through. This man is not an attorney in any meaningful sense — he is a passive “negotiator” who did absolutely nothing to advocate for me. He took my money, worked in favor of the opposing side, and stood silent in court while I was left completely unrepresented. He never once spoke in my defense or protected my interests. In my opinion, he is the most corrupt, untrustworthy, and unethical lawyer I have ever encountered. His skillset is nonexistent, his loyalty is for sale, and his conduct is a disgrace to the legal profession. Avvo, you owe it to the public to investigate If you continue allowing obviously manipulated ratings.

Hiring this lawyer was a devastating error in judgment. In my experience, he demonstrated zero competence, zero advocacy, and zero loyalty to his client. Inside the courtroom, he remained passive and disengaged, offering no defense, no objections, and no meaningful participation — as if my case were irrelevant to him. His actions, or rather complete inaction, consistently benefited the opposing side. He extracted his fee without delivering a single tangible result, leaving me abandoned at the most critical moments. His approach was not that of a professional advocate but of someone merely occupying a seat, detached and indifferent. I saw no evidence of skill, ethics, or even basic client commitment. Entrusting him with your case is equivalent to surrendering before the fight begins. If you want a defender who will actually stand for you, look elsewhere — my experience was nothing short of betrayal.
