BEWARE! Do NOT hire Scott C Stockwell! He is slimy and dishonest. We initially called to ask him to help plan our Dad's estate, as Dad was in a Memory Care Facility in a Nursing Home and not doing well. My husband had POA, and Dad was suffering from dementia. Scott visited him in the Nursing home, wouldn't let us in on the conversation, then proceeded to block us out of any information, even though we were the ones who initiated contact and had Durable POA. Knowing that Dad was mentally incompetent, Scott then went to visit Dad in the Nursing home again to try to get him to sign papers without our knowledge or consent. Thankfully the Nursing Home informed us about his uninvited visits, prevented Dad from signing anything, and we were able to send Scott a cease and desist letter, barring him access, and prevent him from swindling a very vulnerable and mentally incapable elderly man. This man can NOT be trusted!
