It did not appear that this lawyer fulfilled my request in the divorce decree. She did not insure the IRA output was a set amount, without interest. She did not get the paperwork into the government IRA (TSP) in a timely manner, which in turn took the government 15 months to remove amount for Ex-wife. Then that amount was more than the percentage she had at divorce date.
Joni seemed very judgemental in her interactions with my husband and I. Our opinion after our matter was settled was that the opposing counsel helped us more than our own attorney. After our matter was completed there were issues that arose that we contacted Joni regarding and she either never got back to us regarding the issues or her response was extremely delayed.
