Michael R. Romm, P.A.

Dealing with Michael Romm as my attorney was worse and more stressful than the people I was suing. Romm talks a good game… boast about himself and his prowess as an attorney ad nauseam, and when he is caught doing something incorrectly or simply lying, tries to cover it up via sycophancy. I never received an invoice from him, and even after he was dismissed, I did not receive an invoice nor did he pay me back the money he owes me. He did not let me review documents before filing. Therefore, the two complaints he filed on my behalf, were erroneous when the defendant filed a complaint, I never saw it. I went for a month without answered phone calls, text and emails. The level of Integrity is an all-time low with this one man band. My Case, which I should’ve won easily, was dismissed because Michael Romm is so completely and utterly inept. Michael Romm is a joke. Since firing him, I’ve shown other lawyers what he wrote and our communications and all they can do is laugh at him.

We hired Michael Romm as part of a team to defend us in an equine litigation case with potentially millions at stake. All started well he promised us that we would be his sole focus and that our previous counsel had made many mistakes. He started to bill us with no breakdown of the invoice, i asked him several time for an itemized invoice but he said that he was “trying to learn the software”. This went on for a fe months and was getting work done during this time. Not enough space.
