Originally founded in 1960, the Firm has consistently enjoyed the reputation of having a superior civil litigation, mass complex litigation, insurance defense, and business and transactional legal practice in the State of Nevada.

Originally founded in 1960 and incorporated later that decade, the Firm, with the retirement of its original founding members, has undergone several name changes. The Rawlings, Olson & Cannon name was adopted in 1983, and in January of 1995, the Firm became known as Rawlings, Olson, Cannon, Gormley & Desruisseaux. The Firm has consistently enjoyed the reputation of having one of the superior civil litigation practices in the state of Nevada. During its nearly 40 years of operation, approximately 95% of the Firm's practice has been dedicated to civil litigation. The Law firm is listed in the Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers. The Firm's mission and goal is to provide our clients with professional and responsive legal services in an efficient, timely and cost-effective manner.

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.
