About Richard A. Schonfeld

After growing up in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, Mr. Schonfeld graduated from University of Western Ontario in 1996 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. Mr. Schonfeld then attended California Western School of Law, receiving his Doctor of Laws in 1998. Upon graduation, Mr. Schonfeld served as a law clerk at the Law Offices of Goodman & Chesnoff, until he passed the Nevada Bar Exam in October of 1998 at which time he became an associate of the law firm.

After Mr. Goodman was elected Mayor of Las Vegas he remained part of the firm until 2005. Whereupon the firm changed its name to Chesnoff & Schonfeld, and Mr. Schonfeld became a named partner. Mr. Schonfeld concentrates his primary legal efforts on criminal adjudication, trial litigation, drug crimes, white collar crimes, complex civil litigation and family law. Mr. Schonfeld's extensive trial experience has earned him recognition as a top 100 trial lawyer. While an aggressive criminal defense litigator, Mr. Schonfeld has secured considerable financial dispositions for his clients in civil cases. In 2011, Mr. Schonfeld successfully reached a seven figure settlement for a wrongfully convicted individual.

Unlike typical lawyers, Mr. Schonfeld refuses to delegate legal tasks to an internal staff and prides himself on providing his clients with personal legal guidance. Hired Attorney

Richard is the best! After "interviewing" several other attorneys about my case, I was most comfortable with Richard. He was not cheap but when your freedom is on the line do you really want cheap? I got what I paid for. Richard was able to get me a very favorable disposition. NO JAIL TIME & NO FINE! No one wants to face criminal prosecution but if you find yourself in that position, do yourself a favor and hire Richard Schonfeld.

Mr. Schonfeld is a true professional...I cannot express in words how it felt to have Mr. Schonfeld represent me in court...I no longer felt like the little guy going up against a giant like the deputy D.A., seems like our roles were reversed. Mr. Shonfeld argued diligently on my behalf, and did not back down to the District Attorney. Mr. Schonfeld was not cheap, but let me say that he is worth every single dime, I can sleep better at night, knowing that I have him on my team.
