John Gormley, originally from Summit Hill, Pennsylvania, holds a B.A. in political science from Susquehanna University and a J.D. from Duquesne University. Since joining the State Bar of Nevada in 1979, he has also been a part of the Pennsylvania Bar and is admitted to practice before several federal courts, including the United States Supreme Court. His leadership within the firm is reinforced by his past experience as a captain in the U.S. Marine Corps JAG Division, where he acquired extensive trial experience. Renowned for his foresight and tenacity in trial preparation, John is skilled in civil litigation, focusing on legal malpractice, products liability, and civil rights cases. He has served as lead defense counsel in high-profile cases, such as the Navy Tailhook litigation. A certified civil trial advocate, John is a dedicated member of the American Board of Trial Advocates. Beyond his legal work, he is deeply involved in education and community service, contributing to youth athletics, school activities, and pro bono programs.
