He represents himself as a "top" education lawyer, but you will be hard pressed to find any appellate decision that has advanced the rights of students. Plain and simple, he is dishonest. He made a declaration (statement) that he had to end representation due to some sort of unspecified "leave of absence", however this necessity to end representation is untrue. I found out on pacer he filed a lawsuit on behalf of another (new) client 5 days before he ended my representation. Such dishonest acts need not be tolerated, and the state bar has expressed interest in bringing disciplinary charges against him. Kathryn below, explained it perfectly. He will raise optimism during the initial consultation, but he will stop responding when his de minimis efforts at settling your case fail.
