Jason Barron has over 18 years legal experience in both civil and commercial litigation. Trained by some of Nevada’s most prominent commercial litigators (now partners in some of the U.S. largest international law firms), Jason has handled all aspects of civil litigation both from a plaintiff and defense perspective. This type of experience has allowed Jason unique insight into defense tactics; anticipated defense approach in litigating cases and coverage issues. As first-chair trial counsel, Jason obtained a seven-figure resolution for a client catastrophically injured in a negligent security case. As first chair defense, he has also obtained a dismissal on the merits in a premises liability case involving policy limits (seven figures). Jason has litigated, second chair, a wrongful death claim through trial with a multi-million dollar recovery. As lead counsel, Jason has obtained high six-figure results for his injured clients in such cases as a minor suffering a severe hand injury (crush and degloving injury) in an ATV negligent entrustment case; and an adult suffering a traumatic brain injury ( TBI) in a commercial liability premises case. With well over a decade in representing personal injury clients, Jason has extensive experience in hundreds of personal injury claims from pre-suit negotiation through arbitration, trial, mediations and litigation. Prior to joining the THE702FIRM Injury Attorneys, Jason ran his own boutique personal injury litigation practice and later headed the insurance defense department for a local firm, specializing in high-end premises liability exposure cases. Jason practices today exclusively in prosecuting claims on behalf of those injured through no fault of their own.
Jason is a member of the Nevada State and Federal Bar since 2000. He is a member of the Notre Dame Alumni Association and the National Honors Society. He enjoys martial arts in his spare time; sports; music and literature. Jason has played drums/percussion since the fifth grade and is a recorded musician, playing and performing in several bands both locally and in the California area.
