Mr. Tinnell practices in the areas of business and commercial law, complex civil litigation, and tort defense. He graduated cum laude from the William S. Boyd School of Law in 2024, where he earned CALI Excellence for the Future Awards in Civil Procedure, Criminal Law, and Contracts. During law school, Mr. Tinnell externed with the Honorable Judge Nancy L. Alff (Ret.) at the Eighth Judicial District Court. Following graduation, he clerked for the Honorable Judge Veronica Barisich at the Eighth Judicial District Court.
Prior to law school, Mr. Tinnell worked as a Private Investigator with a focus on criminal defense matters. His work included witness location and interviews, background and records checks, scene documentation, mitigation investigation, as well as case preparation support for both pretrial and post-conviction proceedings. He earned a multidisciplinary bachelor’s degree in Business, Psychology, and Philosophy from the University of Nebraska Omaha.
Outside of the office, Mr. Tinnell enjoys spending time with his girlfriend and their German Shepherd, Phoebe, traveling, and being with friends and family. An avid sports fan, he cheers for the Houston Texans, Houston Rockets, and the Las Vegas Golden Knights.
