Carissa Christensen Yuhas is an Attorney at the Las Vegas office of Resnick & Louis, P.C. and focuses her practice on premise liability. Carissa received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology, Summa Cum Laude, with a minor in Criminal Justice from Southern Utah University. While attending SUU, she was a member and captain of the Waukeenyan Dance team. She then attended law school at Texas Tech University School of Law where she graduated Magna Cum Laude in the top 15% of her class. While in law school, she served as the founder and chair of the Student Wellness Advisory Counsel, as well as the Director of Student Wellness in the Student Bar Association. She was also a fellow in the Academy for Leadership in the Legal Profession. During her third year of school, she practiced as a student attorney in the Family Law and Housing Clinic.After law school, Carissa became a member of the Utah bar and began practicing family law. She later became a member of the Nevada bar after moving to Las Vegas and began her career in civil litigation and insurance defense.During her free time, Carissa loves to dance, listen to music, read mystery novels, workout, and watch the Las Vegas Golden Knights.Carissa is licensed to practice law in the states of Nevada and Utah.
