Akke Levin is a litigator focusing on complex, high-stakes commercial litigation and arbitration. Before joining the firm, she served as senior deputy attorney general in the complex litigation department in the Office of the Attorney General for Las Vegas. In this role, she represented the state and its departments in federal and state court in cases involving civil rights, employment discrimination, consumer rights, defamation, inverse condemnation, and negligence claims, as well as licensing and health law disputes. Her private practice experience also includes litigating and arbitrating real estate disputes, claims for securities fraud, breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, shareholder derivative claims, business disputes, property and personal injury torts, lending fraud, and other torts.

• Secured a defense victory as lead counsel in a jury trial in a defamation case against an educational institution.°
• Represented media companies in accounting and breach of contract disputes.°
• Represented officers and directors of mining company in multimillion-dollar loan dispute resulting in settlement.°
• Defended condominium, casino-hotel, and hotel condominium developers and owners against breach of contract and securities fraud claims brought by purchasers, lenders, and contractors.°
• Obtained defense judgments and settlements for utility company in personal injury and property disputes.°
• Defended state departments against civil rights claims.°
• Obtained reversal of summary judgment and affirmance of judgments in favor of clients in the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and Nevada Supreme Court.°
• Was second chair in 20-day bench trial involving legality of licensing process.°
