Mr. Brown did an excellent job in my bankruptcy case and I would highly recommend.

He was able to answer my questions in a way that was easy to understand, & he seemed happy to be able to educate me on the law regarding bankruptcy, filling out the legal forms, etc.
His secretary/staff were polite, knew quite a bit about the subject, & were also helpful to me when I had questions about the procedure.
My only complaint is that a year after the bankruptcy, I received another bill from his office, asking me for $50 more. I called to inquire, & the staff told me it was an error.

went to David Brown for a standard will and POA documents. Everything seemed to go well, after all, these are just standard boilerplate documents. After a somewhat rushed review and signing of the documents I later discovered a mistake in the spelling of a name, a typo actually. I went back to have them correct it and was told they would and send me the correction. A week and a half later after seeing my brother for his signature he discovered another mistake where they inserted a wrong name in a wrong location. I again went back to Mr. Brown's office and pointed out this mistake and again showed them the other mistake which I never did get the correction for. I was assured by the staff that these corrections would be made and sent to me. This is literally a 2 minute computer job and maybe 5 minutes to make copies. That was 5 and a half weeks ago and I still have not seen my corrected paperwork. Mr. Brown may be a decent attorney but his staff is certainly incompetent and a poor refl

This office is extremely unorganized. They do not turn in proper paperwork on time causing your case to be dismissed! He didn't show up to court twice! Our case was dismissed and we lost property only because he didn't do his job with paperwork and being at the hearing. Then said he would appeal it but big surprise, that paperwork was not turned in. So just a big waste of money, hire any lawyer but him if you want a chance.

When meeting Mr Brown, we wanted to believe the good reviews, however, we are now out $1500.00 and should have believed the negatives. Mr. Brown has been a no show to court on 3 out of 5 occasions - greatly lengthening the time the kids haven't been seen by their father - the opposite task Mr Brown was hired to do. He made great promises of being able to easily resolve the issue, told great stories of being respected and feared in family court....how when you show up 2 out of 5 times? Mr Brown should have been honest with us...and with himself- he's washed up. His health affects his ability to do the job, can barely climb the courthouse steps. Barely speak to the judge without being out of breath. No communication - expect to chase him around by phone and email. When we fired him, his front desk lady said "I don't blame you". We had to find out he wasn't coming to court from the other party's lawyer - didn't even bother texting his client. Don't hire this dumpster fire.

Attorney Brown is a terrible attorney. He takes forever to get things done; if even at all. Opportunities are missed and wasted as well as my money wasted. He did nothing for me and cost me everything that mattered to me. He is not an honest man and will tell you what you want to hear and then moves on to the next case and forgets about you. I call at least twice a week and no call backs. Do not use him if what you're trying to save matters because you will end up broke and angry.
