Mr. Szilagyi is a very knowledgeable attorney and provided outstanding legal assistance for me and my wife. He assisted my wife and I in the purchase of a large business. He was able to handle all aspects of the business purchase and demonstrate a high degree of expertise in business acquisitions, employee relation, contracts, and handling all the necessary state licensor needs for the business. He orchestrated the transaction in a highly professional manner keeping us informed throughout.
The City of Lansing gave me headaches about a development I was trying to get zoning approval on. After hitting several road blocks, I contacted Anthony Szilagyi. He walked me through the process, spoke for me during the board meetings and convinced the city to assign a new zoning classification to my development project. He was responsive, caring and treated the project like it was his own. I appreciated how vested he was in the future of my project. He really helped me make it a success!
I found Mr. Szilagyi to be very helpful as was his staff. All work was completed as promised in a timely manner.
I found Mr. Szilagyi to be unresponsive to me as a client. There was little to no communication on a regular basis and I felt that my money was wasted in the effort. I was not informed of any correspondence from the defendant's attorney and had to generate all communication between the client and attorney.
This was the worse experience of my life! Run away from this man! He will hurt you if he had a chance! Never allow him on your property or do business with him! He is under investigation at the “attorneys grievance board”!
Mr. Szilagyi made claims to the person that recommended him to me that the particular case i hired him for "was right up his alley". Unfortunately Mr. Szilagyi was totally clueless of the case in hand. Mr Szilagyi also stated that he would be able to complete the case for about $3,000.00 total. The final bill was way over $15,000.00. I had to pay for the court sanctions against him plus he did not make me aware of the majority of the happenings in the case.
