Our mother hired Keith to be her trustee of her estate. Upon her death I met with Keith's assistant Chris who promised me monthly conference calls and updates. It has been 6 months since my mother passed and it has been a struggle to get information every step of the way. Keith will not answer our questions, rarely acknowledge even receiving emails or phone messages from me (us). He has been sent detailed spreadheets and instructions three times since July and still claims not to have them. His story changes every time we do speak about why it is taking so long to distribute my mother's assets. He has asked her investiment firm to do the heavy lifting, determining the quantity of asstes to be distributed to whom based on my mother's will, and now says it is too complicated so he just wants to liquidate her holdings and distribute cash, despite possible tax liability to the estate! The delays have cost money in loss of value, which will manifest if assets are sold. Not Recommended!
