Mr. Matthew Zern Martell

Matt Martell represented my cousin in her divorce. He was very professional and polite at all times and was also very prepared at the mediation and both hearings. He worked very hard and persistently fought for her at all stages in the case. He gets things done consistently, effectively, yet diplomatically. He was not overly aggressive, combative, rude, insulting, and arrogant like her husband’s attorney who was a total jerk. He seems to understands that with disputes in life, generally speaking, you get more with honey than with vinegar. The judge and the mediator both seemed know him well and also seemed to like him. He was straight with my cousin about what she could expect at mediation as far as the settlement and it turned out that he was right on point. I appreciate that he did not mislead her about what she could expect to get or play with her emotions to extend the divorce or create more fights (as the other lawyer did with her husband).
