Hired Law Firm

I hired the Cordoba Law Firm to help me with a municipal court case in Lake Jackson I can honestly say that this firm is some of the best legal representation I have ever worked with. The lawyer assigned to our case - Phillip Knop - was outstanding and everything you would want in terms of a lawyer: knowledgeable, accountable, responsive and professional. He helped answer the many questions I had and was always available via phone or text (which I really appreciated). Phillip along with the entire Cordoba Law Firm represented us throughout the entire process and have a strong relationship with the local cities. I would tell you there is no one better and I would absolutely recommend them if you are in need of legal services!

Hired Law Firm

Frank Mauro is the main attorney, Jason Cordoba is a partner, and Debbie Smith is the Paralegal assistant. They were all involved in a guardianship case regarding my father. My father had a stroke and decided to live with me. He was completely aware of all things but was partially paralyzed. My older siblings tried to take control of his estate by claiming that he was an "incapacitated person". Mauro Law Office nipped their claim in the bud.

Jason Cordoba yelled and threatened me in his office, his own staff looked terrified and humiliated- & this was after he had misplaced documents that were due to me weeks beforehand. He charged our family 30k for a 200k estate, had the vehicle repossessed rather than allow me to buy it at the amount owed. Constant letters with accusations, threats of taking me to court and removing me from the Will. He even told me I would be removed from the Will if I mowed the yard. I could not mow my parents yard, that it was the executers duty. This meant a lean was put on the home bc the grass grew so tall, rather than let me use the lawn mower to mow! If you love your family, do not go to this firm. I feel this man manipulates his way into creating and fueling bad blood between siblings, for the sole purpose of charging ridiculous rates. He took my moms jewelry and scooped it into bags & made us choose 3 boxes randomly. Heed my warning, it was the most toxic experience of my life.
