About James H. Domengeaux

Lafayette native, Jimmy followed in his late uncle’s footsteps in the firm. He earned his Juris Doctorate from Louisiana State University in 1986. He is admitted to practice in all federal and state courts in Louisiana, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, and the U.S. Supreme Court. He is also admitted to practice in Texas.

Mr. Domengeaux is a member of the Board of Directors of the Council for the Development of French in Louisiana and also serves as Treasurer of the Francophone section of the Louisiana State Bar Association. He is a former board member of the Lafayette Parish Bar Association and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America. He has also served on the Board of Governors of the Louisiana Trial Lawyers Association. In 2013, he was selected to the list of "Top Attorneys in Louisiana."
