Leave a review about your experience with this lawyer.Cindy and her staff understood my case and handled it with professionalism and courtesy. Cindy had to deal with my crazy family over what should have been an easy probate case, however due to greedy family fighting over a pittance of an inheritance it turned into a costly fight. These reviews painting her in a negative light are probably from other people who had to go up against her, because Cindy is well respected and does a great job representing her clients and her staff is definitely top drawer.

Beware. My experience with this attorney was horrible. I too often felt as if she was unresponsive, unprepared and uninformed. She submitted some documents to the Court that I had drafted for her but then failed to submit - or even request from me - the necessary supporting evidence. She submitted other documents to the Court that I did not review and did not agree with. My advice is to avoid this lawyer.
I would strongly caution anyone considering Cynthia Smith to think twice before engaging their services. She is rude and horrible at communication. She always seem annoyed by the client. Just an awful experience!
I recently had the misfortune of hiring a lawyer who left me deeply disappointed and frustrated. To put it bluntly, my experience with this attorney has been nothing short of terrible. From the very beginning, her complete lack of communication made it nearly impossible to get updates on my case or even ask simple questions. It was not only unprofessional but also extremely frustrating. Additionally, the lawyer's demeanor and attitude were nothing short of rude and impersonal. During our limited interactions, she came across as dismissive and condescending. She acts like you are an inconvenience to her.
My experience with the Law Office of Cynthia Smith’s billing and service practices left much to be desired. The recurrence of charges for the same services, the inclusion of billable hours extending beyond reasonable timeframes, and the absence of explanations for these discrepancies were alarming. Moreover, the substantial increase of almost 65% higher than quoted in the overall cost, coupled with the lack of responsiveness and accountability, highlighted a level of disregard for client concerns and transparency. It is my sincere hope that sharing my experience will encourage others to carefully evaluate the billing practices of legal professionals they consider working with. Transparency, accuracy, and responsiveness in billing are essential components of any professional relationship, and my unfortunate experience with Cynthia underscores the importance of these factors.
Be aware, the ratings on this website are from partners, colleagues, and peers (most likely friends), NOT clients. Horrible representation. Extremely forgetful and disorganized, I had to remind her and her paralegal about issues regarding my case multiple times; request by email or phone answers to the same questions multiple times (which costs money); billing notification was misleading; charged late fees without knowing and when I called to refute the late charges, she dropped me as a client.
