William C. Vencill has over three decades of civil litigation experience, focusing on real property and construction disputes; corporate, partnership, and commercial disputes; title insurance claims; transactional assignments in complex real property; and construction and commercial transactions.
In addition to having extensive trial experience, Mr. Vencill is also an experienced mediator, arbitrator, and a Special Master. Since 1994, he has been providing alternative dispute resolution services in a diverse array of practice areas, including construction claims, trust and estate claims, real property disputes, contract disputes, and business disputes. He received mediation training from Appropriate Dispute Resolution Applications, Inc. and regularly attends mediation workshops and trainings.
Mr. Vencill attended Saint Mary's College of California in Moraga, California, where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree in 1971, and the University of California, Hastings College of Law in San Francisco, California, where he earned his Juris Doctor degree in 1975. He is admitted to practice in all state courts of California (1975), the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals (1976), U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California (1975), U.S. District Court for the Central District of California (1978), U.S. District Court for the Eastern of California (1981), and the U.S. Supreme Court (1979).
Mr. Vencill is a member of several professional law associations, including the State Bar of California, Contra Costa Bar Association, Alameda County Bar Association, and the Association for Dispute Resolution of Northern California.
