Genevieve Suzuki is a family law attorney with more than a decade of experience serving clients throughout San Diego. She is dedicated to helping individuals and families navigate complex and often emotional legal matters with compassion, clarity, and a focus on preserving stability whenever possible.
Her practice centers on guiding clients through divorce, custody disputes, support matters, and other family law issues with thoughtful advocacy and practical solutions. Genevieve is known for her empathetic approach and her commitment to helping clients reach resolutions that protect both their immediate needs and their long-term well-being.
She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism from the University of Hawai‘i at Manoa and her Juris Doctor from California Western School of Law in San Diego. Before becoming an attorney, Genevieve built a successful career as a print journalist and editor in Honolulu and San Diego, developing the strong communication and writing skills that continue to serve her clients today.
In addition to her legal practice, Genevieve serves as co-editor of San Diego Lawyer Magazine, published by the San Diego County Bar Association. She is also the author of the children’s book The Original Poi Cats on O’ahu, published by Mutual Publishing.
