Kerry Schlossberg has been an associate at Optima Law Group since 2013, counseling clients and executing upon a broad range of impactful transactional matters. Her practice covers corporate formation and maintenance, complex contract drafting and negotiation, corporate governance, business transactions, trademark and copyright applications, investment transactions, securities compliance, and debt financing. As an undergraduate at UC Berkeley, Ms. Schlossberg was involved in a wide array of activities such as broadcasting and journalism, and was selected for a fellowship with the Foundation for the Defense of Democracies. As a law student, Ms. Schlossberg developed a strong legal research background and gained in-depth intellectual property, business, and international law experience. In addition, she participated in an international study summer program in Salzburg, Austria, during which she completed a course on Fundamental Rights in Europe and the United States taught by U.S. Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy. Complementary to her transactional practice, she has gained valuable civil litigation experience working on cases involving contract law, business and corporate law, personal injury law, property law, landlord/tenant law, elder law, bankruptcy law, and civil rights.
