At first, he was very nice in explaining what he would do for me. He promptly returned my calls and was very helpful when I had questions. I feel that, once he had discovered that my case would not be a substantial settlement, he changed the way he handled me. He would not return my calls, instead writing a letter to me, which I found out cost me more out-of-pocket than a simple phone call. Later on in my case, he would not even return phone calls or write a letter. He ignored me.
I would not recommend Mr. Egan. Our experience with him was no call backs or emails on time. He was rude, overlooked our needs and did what he wanted. And, he didn't reach out to professionals that had verification's for his client. Even though, he had their contact info. And, he refused our legal documents and verification's we offered him to show his client's innocence. Because of his lack of involvement, someone who was innocent and a vulnerable adult with mental health issues went to prison. Even the client's parole officer said it was wrong. And the MN ombudsman for corrections advised we appeal and report him. All Mr. Egan's media articles and adds portraying he sticks up for "the underdog" appear to be a public show and not too authentic. I and other's involved with him are very disappointed.
