I can not say enough good things about this Firm and Mr.Burton everyone that works there is so helpful and pleasant,which helps a lot when your going through things and so much is on your mind and if ever there's a time during your dealings with this Firm that you have a question a answer is just a phone call away there's always someone there to help and answer your question to put your mind at ease and to just listen if that's what you need they're great in all they do,,I can honestly say that this Firm and Mr.Burton does indeed have your best interest in mind they truly care about their clients,,They have outstanding knowledge of the law and the court system and they will fight with all they have for you and do all they can to get the best outcome possible..I can't say enough good things about this Law Firm and the people that work there but I can say that if your in need of a Great Lawyer who truly know's what their doing then Burton McKinnish is indeed the one to get.....

I went to see Jenae Anderson at Burton & McKinnish about a divorce. After a bit of a rocky start due to a misunderstanding, she worked extremely hard on my behalf. And the office staff, especially Iris Harrison, paralegal, were outstanding. While I would not wish a difficult divorce on anyone, I would recommend Burton & McKinnish immediately.

Our judge would allow our divorce unrepresented, so we asked Burton and McKinnish to reformat our papers so that the judge would approve. They left out my name change!! Since I failed to notice the oversight, I now have to hire another attorney and $170 file fee to get my name changed. What a waste of money, time and energy!!

Been in the process of a Divorce for almost two years. There is no property to settle or money issues. I don't ever get any communication from this firm unless I call then they tell me they will call me back and never do.

Good afternoon guys I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND this law office to nobody I had spoken to attorney ms Tegan witch not get me ring she was good that's why I paid $5000 for her representation and then shortly after paying she left for a better opportunity and my case was then signed to Jennifer witch is the owner and this was never advised to be on till one day I look at my email and see it there called to get a appointment with Jennifer to see if she had any answers of my case when to speck with her and she had nothing about my case I was there for 15 minutes and every minute she was looking at the door to leave very pure representashing and called that same week to get my money back because nothing was done on my case she gave me back only 2,500 of 5,000 for nothing. And ended up paying a nother 10,000 for a different attorney that understands my case and actually cares DO NOT SPEND THEMONEY WITH THEM .

Worked with her for over 2 years on a divorce case. Semi got it done, got a parenting plan that has been in the court system for 2 years now. Went to court in July 2025 for new parenting plan got it “ done” then in September I called and messaged and called and finally was told she no longer worked in Mckinish law group anymore that the owner was Noe on my case. I was not informed with this. As of October 28 2025 the parenting plan is still not finalized and I’m a single mom with limited funds, and cannot get child support until this is finalized. Over $20,000 in lawyer bills and things are still not done. I’m drowning in debt and they are procrastinating to finalize this. Went to court in July then in September to finalize it should have been done, but was just informed by “Jennifer Mckinnish” the “owner” that we will have to go back to court to finalize this parenting plan again because it wasn’t done correctly. Also the parenting plan I approved was NOT was was submitted to her

The worst divorce attorney in American history. I would have been better off running away with my kids than hiring someone so incompetent. These people care more about making friends and playing kiss-up with the judge more than they do their own clients. They don’t care about justice, they only care about a false narrative. Imagine hiring someone to get you out of an abusive marriage and they make your life 10x worse. Thanks Burton-McKinnish, I’ll never look at a tenneseee lawyer the same again.
