If I could give this firm 10 stars, I would! The whole office, Patrick, Clay, and Tyler are on top of everything from communication to court! Their dedication, attention to details, and determinations have shown results in court and outside of court (mediations and such). I will definitely recommend this firm to anyone who needs family custody help. They are very responsive to emails and get back to you in a timely manner. If you need an attorney definitely call this firm!!
Patrick Slaughter is definitely a 5 star lawyer. If you need help with immigration like I did, or any other legal help, go see Patrick! He and his wife have been so kind and compassionate. They took so much time preparing our documents and supporting our case. My wife and I are so grateful to them for all that they have done for us. We couldn't have picked a better team. This truly is the best firm you could have supporting you!
I couldn't ask for a better experience than I have had with Patrick and his team in the assistance of my husband's immigration. They are absolutely amazing! My husband and I were even told by an official that our case was the most well prepared they had ever seen! :D I recommend Mr. Slaughter with 5 stars to everyone. Excellent law firm
This was by far a horrible experience. Showed up to a zoom confrence barefoot. Yes! Barfoot, I actually saw his toes. If I did, so did the judge and all parties. I was made to look bad to the judge in court. After approaching him about it, he dropped me 1 day before trial which caused me to have to get new representation. It is a shame people like this are allowed to practice. After speaking with different attorneys I heard he is known for this.
I called the offices of Mr Jim LaFevor and scheduled an appointment, I was told that Jim retired and sold his company that sill uses his name. Ok after she took all my information she then told me there is a $50.00 consultation fee, I said that’s fine knowing what good Jim has done for me in the past. I arrived 15 minutes early and there was no one there to greet me , then an individual walks in wearing jeans and a ball cap with an awful beard. This individual comes out and introduces to me as the attorney. I’m telling you that was a red flag. We started about what I was looking for and thru the whole Conversation all he said was nothing but negativity and for his services it would be 5k I asked him why was this so expensive and said he charged $400.00 an hour . This case was not something that anyone would want that much as a retainer up front. At his rate per hour I think he should at the least make a customer comfortable and looked a a professional.
They did an absolute terrible job! This law firm cost me well over $20,000 and left me with no resolutions to so many assets after my divorce. They are money hungry, and do not help you through all obstacles of divorce.
The office of James LaFevor is very unprofessional. The assistant is very rude and unskilled. Mr. LaFevor is very docile and does not represent his clients well in court. I would not recommend retaining Mr. LaFevor for any reason what so ever. On his business cards he has Knoxville misspelled. If you retain him I promise you will find a total lack of communication on his part and on his assistant's as well. They do not return calls or e-mails but will charge you for receiving them.
