Attorney Glen A. Kyle is certified by the National Elder Law Foundation as a Certified Elder Law Attorney and by the State of Tennessee as an Elder Law Specialist. He is the owner of Franklin & Kyle Elder Law, LLC which has been voted the best law firm in Knoxville in the 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025 Knox Stars Awards. He has annually been voted one of the best Elder Law attorneys in the Knoxville area by his peers in the annual Cityview edition for many years.Glen focuses his practice in the areas of elder care, elder law, estate planning, and Medicaid/Medicare advocacy. He graduated with honors from the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law, where he worked in the Elder Law Clinic and served as the Business Editor of the Memphis Law Review. A Murfreesboro native, Glen earned a bachelor’s degree in History from Rutgers University. Before attending law school, he pursued a decade long career in banking at the branch level. This experience motivated him to pursue a law degree expressly for the purpose of advocating for older adults.
Glen is the author of “Spousal Annuities, An Old and New Planning Option,” published in the July 1, 2017 edition of the Tennessee Bar Journal. He has served on the Executive Council of the Elder Law Section of the Tennessee Bar Association for many years and currently serves as the Vice Chair. He is a current member of the Tennessee Bar Association, the Knoxville Estate Planning Council, and the Knoxville Bar Association.
