I assisted in reviewing records on a case that this Attorney handled where the Petitioner for Divorce was a Veteran with Dementia (Her client). This woman is NOT who you want to represent you. She will aid the other side (Especially if the Respondent has her friend, Attorney Melinda Brown as their attorney, Valerie B Hedrick and Melinda Brown are cohorts) in cleaning out what belongs to you. You will be left with nothing for yourself and nothing for your Heirs. Just know if you hire this Valerie B Hedrick, and she does NOT represent you, don't bother going to the Oregon Bar Association's Office of Client Assistance, because they will back her Crooked ways. Just a side note, the ones who are on here recommending her are either her friends, or someone she has worked with that she has paid to give her a good review. Her office is always in Chaos and the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. DO NOT HIRE THIS WOMAN NOR ANYONE IN HER OFFICE!
After paying a retainer fee of 2500.00 and not going to court one time, she requested 1200.00 the day before our final hearing. Without proper communication from her or her office, she canceled her services and drop our case in the courts without us even knowing about it the evening before our final hearing! Her billboard states "you'll really like her" this is true if you have money to give her without her giving you any service in return! You will love her! DON'T TRUST HER!
