Working with Starkey has been an awful experience. He has been awful at communicating and has not followed through with any of the actions he said he was going to take. Our Estate has been out of probate for months, but we have not made any progress due to Starkey not doing anything to move things along. He would tell us he is going to take an action and then we find out from someone else that he hasn't even communicated with them after months of them trying to reach out to him via email, letters, and phone calls. He ignored all of them. I highly suggest you find another lawyer if you are thinking about hiring Starkey. He has wasted so much of our time and has caused so much unneeded stress.

All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*

• AV Preeminent®: The highest peer rating standard. This rating signifies that a large number of the lawyer’s peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal knowledge, communication skills and ethical standards.

• Distinguished: An excellent rating for a lawyer with some experience. This rating indicates the attorney is widely respected by their peers for high professional achievement and ethical standards.
