Hired Attorney Eric K. Washburn

Eric was an acquaintance through a mutual friend, but never had the opportunity to work with him in his professional setting. My wife was in a car accident late 2016, and Eric reached out to see if we needed his support with anything. Honestly, my wife and I would have never considered speaking with an attorney had Eric not reached out. This removed all of the stress of dealing with the insurance companies, and helped us considerably in terms of ensuring my wife was comfortable during recovery.

My father worked for a railroad company for over 36 years. He was diagnosed with mesothelioma cancer and died three months later. My friend recommended Rick Shapiro and the law firm of Shapiro, Cooper, Lewis & Appleton to handle this case. From the beginning, we knew we had the right team fighting for us. Rick never gave up, worked tirelessly on our behalf against a railroad company that could not care less about my dad's death. Rick was able to get a very good settlement for my mother.

Rick did a fantastic job handling my case. I suffered a slip and fall injury in Virginia and had another attorney working on my case for over a year. That attorney told me that I did not have a case since the statute of limitations ran out. Rick proved him wrong. In no time, he got my case settled and funds were in my bank account.
