Jeanine handled my divorce as a true professional and made it obvious to me how well she understands the laws and the avenues possible to settle a divorce. She and her assistant Chelsea are a great team, so knowledgeable that they are always a step ahead in looking out for your better interest. I am very pleased with the outcome of my divorce settlement. There’s no question, if someone is looking for a solid, professional,& knowledgeable divorce attorney I would recommend Jeanine Evans.

Hired Attorney Laura F. Meads

I highly recommend Laura Meads. In 2019 I worked with the Evans & Meads legal office on a difficult foreclosure closing. Ms. Meads' office was very responsive and a good advocate on representing my interests to the seller and bank. Her office assisted with escrow distributions and was good with communication whenever I had a question. I went back to Ms. Meads three years later for an easement issue. Attorney Meads worked with me directly and was very approachable and knows many of the local builders. She was able to make a call and get me answers. She is also very knowledgeable of North Carolina laws. I would 100% use Ms. Meads for any future legal issues in OBX.

I retained Jeanine Evans as my Divorce/Child Custody attorney. I always felt comfortable sharing my questions/concerns and received honest answers, even though they weren’t necessarily the answers I wanted to hear. Jeanine was well prepared and persistent in representing my best interests in every aspect of this process right down to the smallest details. Her professionalism, advice and no-nonsense approach was much appreciated. I wouldn’t hesitate to hire her again.

When I initially met Jeanine Evans, she was representing a friend in a complicated divorce property settlement. During the time it took to reach a resolution in my friend’s case, I got a first-hand look at how well Jeanine represents her clients in and out of the courtroom. I have since hired her myself for legal advice regarding estate planning and to have a will written. Highly recommended as a family law attorney.
