Hired Attorney

Very down-to-earth, talked to us like a friend and not in language that we could not understand, to the point, didn't go off of subject in court (kept the hearings short and to the point and didn't allow the other party to play the victim role).

Mr. Hickman was an excellent lawyer who knew the system and respected my desire never to compromise my integrity during the proceedings. My only difficulty with him was that he tends to take care of what is most urgent, and when it came to my settlement, I was too patient for too long, and had to make myself urgent to get it done. In his defense, he did not charge me a cent for the work he had delayed.

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.
