Hired Attorney

In 2019, I was ridiculously charged with a heinous crime. It should have been obvious to the da that I was innocent and yet he chose to take it to trial anyways. When reviewing Discovery with me Miss Katrina paused the video and asked what had happened to me because she recognized that I had past trauma with police. This was a very emotional moment and also when I knew that I had the right lawyer on my side. It's unfortunate that police aren't trained to recognize such and are very dismissive if not seeing it as hostile or evasive. Like any other lawyer she didn't want me to take the stand but I was insistent and she was very good at making it work. She helped calm me during the deliberation process. Took the time to understand the totality of circumstances leading up to the situation over months. The jury came back in about 20 minutes with a not guilty verdict. Would absolutely recommend. Google says she's no longer practicing I hope that means she's enjoying retirement. 20/10 stars.
