Hailing from Alpharetta, Georgia, and a graduate of Milton High School, Bert's academic journey led him to the University of Georgia, where he earned a bachelor's degree in political science. Subsequently, after contributing to the State Capitol and executive teams of non-profit organizations, he obtained his Juris Doctor degree from Mercer University School of Law. Admitted to practice in all Georgia courts, including the Court of Appeals and Supreme Court of Georgia, Bert also holds admission to the Supreme Court of the United States.
