I got myself into serious legal trouble back in the beginning of 2013. Bill Taylor was assigned to defend me against a possible 20 year stint inside an Alaska prison. Although in hindsight I do see there were ways that could have made me look like a better person than the prosecutor made me look. I still ended up with 3 years and 2 of those outside the prison fence. I know that was due to his genuinely caring about my well being. He did surf a great deal of time on my case. When he could have done as little as possible and push me to sign a plea agreement. Where instead he showed up and pressed on with me through a jury trial. Giving me encouragement along the way. Being calm for both of us through one of the most frightening experiences of my life. I really felt like he saved my life! I am forever grateful for his steadfastness through that storm.
