Blaine helped me thru arson charge while I was in ministry of children in foster care . It happens when I was in grade 11 . I had nothing to do with it but eventually the kid admitted after year and half . But Blaine represented me while I was in grade 12 and n collage so I didn’t miss class . He did an amazing job. The ministry of children hired him for me when I was 17 years old . I’m 30 now . I was just going thru documents in my house and saw the court documents and im always thankful for his service when I see them or think about it . I was honest with him and he helped me thru it and won the case . The damages was huge from arson and was serious case . I’m happy he helped me thru this and won the case ! I highly recommend him .

I have had Blain westrate as my laywer for most of my life. He has always been there for me and has always had my back. He has always been honest about everything even if he knew I wouldn't like his answers. I'd recommend him to my family member as well as anyone who asked for a laywer.

Mr Westrate represented me for a criminal matter in 2015. And by represented I mean he asked "did you do it?" and then told me "well, you can throw yourself on your knees and ask for the courts mercy given the history with the complainant or I can put off the trial for as long as I can and hope he doesn't show up". Then he delayed the trial for a year while I was homeless and alone in a city (Kelowna) away from all my social connections and ability to live a productive normal life (Ontario).

All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*
