Mr. Shannon practices in the area of complex business litigation and sophisticated corporate transactions. He has represented Fortune 500 companies in multi-state litigation involving corporate structure issues. He has also handled numerous financial and corporate transactional matters. He is a member of the Houston and American Bar Associations, and State Bar of Texas; and has lectured and written papers on Usury (Houston Bar Association Continuing Legal Education), Construction Contracts (State Bar of Texas Advanced Real Estate Course, Mortgage Lending Institute), Mechanic's and Materialmen's Lien (Mortgage Lending Institute, University of Texas), Lender Liability Issues (Robert Morris & Associates Seminar, Special National Bank Program), and Drafting Foreclosure Documents, 1990, 1991 Workouts and Closings.
