Since the late 1990s, Roger Nail has dedicated his career to litigating high-stakes personal injury and wrongful-death cases, securing some of Missouri’s largest verdicts and settlements. After earning a B.A. from Westminster College, an M.A. in Public Policy, and his J.D. from the University of Missouri–Columbia—where he served on the Board of Advocates, the Journal of Dispute Resolution, and studied at King’s College, Cambridge—Roger prosecuted felony cases in St. Louis. He then joined Shook Hardy & Bacon, defending multinational companies in product-liability and malpractice suits, learning firsthand how insurers value claims. For nine years as a partner at a plaintiff’s firm, he honed his investigative skills, uncovering crucial medical evidence before starting his own practice in 2005. Specializing in medical malpractice, nursing-home neglect, motor-vehicle accidents, and mass-tort litigation, he attributes his trial success to rapid, thorough investigations and deep client relationships. A “Super Lawyer” and “Best of the Bar” honoree, Roger has chaired numerous bar committees, presented at CLE seminars, and lives in Kansas City with his wife and two sons.
