Christen D. Shepherd is a dedicated solo practitioner based in Kansas City, with a primary focus on family law. She is committed to guiding families toward peaceful resolution whenever possible, drawing on a career that spans a wide array of legal experience including federal criminal defense, personal injury, insurance defense, and creditor collections. Active in the legal community, Ms. Shepherd serves on the board of directors for The Lawyers Association of Kansas City and chairs its committee for public education in the law, organizing annual public education events such as the Mini Law School for the Public. She is a member of The Missouri Bar, Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association, and several other professional organizations, and is licensed to practice in both Missouri and Kansas.
