Hired Attorney

Hiring Chris Podoll was the biggest mistake of my life. He is a terrible attorney. His efforts are lazy and sloppy. He doesn't review his filings. Impossible to get a hold of at times. He agreed to a motion in court without telling me. I wound up violating the order thanks to him. In the end he talked me into taking a settlement that will literally ruin my life. You are better off going it alone than hiring Chris Podoll.

Chris Podoll is a horrible attorney. Hiring his law firm was one of the worst decisions I have ever made. First he made agreements in court on my behalf without telling me at all. I wound up violating the agreement. There were weeks when it was impossible to reach anyone in the office and the voicemail inbox would be full. In the end he's no 'bulldog'. Chris capitulated on everything and I wound up with a terrible settlement that has ruined my life. You are better off going it alone than hiring this firm.

All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*

• AV Preeminent®: The highest peer rating standard. This rating signifies that a large number of the lawyer’s peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal knowledge, communication skills and ethical standards.

• Distinguished: An excellent rating for a lawyer with some experience. This rating indicates the attorney is widely respected by their peers for high professional achievement and ethical standards.

Lawyers who have received peer reviews after 2009 will display more detailed information, including practice areas, summary ratings, detailed numeric ratings and written feedback (if available). Details for individual reviews received before 2009 are not displayed.
